Comprehensive Wellness Exams
Regular wellness exams are the foundation of your pet’s lifelong health. For puppies and kittens, these visits often begin at 6-8 weeks of age and continue every 3-4 weeks until they are around 4 months old. During these exams, we:
Monitor Growth and Development
We assess your pet’s weight, body condition, and overall development.
Detect Potential Issues Early
We check for congenital conditions, parasites, or other health concerns that can appear early in life.
Answer Your Questions
From house training to dietary advice, we’re here to support you.
Vaccinations for Puppies and Kittens
Vaccines protect your young pet from serious diseases. We follow a carefully designed schedule to ensure maximum immunity:
Puppy Vaccinations
Core vaccines include distemper, parvovirus, adenovirus, and rabies. Depending on their lifestyle and exposure risk, we may also recommend vaccines for bordetella, canine influenza, leptospirosis, and Lyme disease.
Kitten Vaccinations
Core vaccines include FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) and rabies. We may also recommend the feline leukemia vaccine for at-risk kittens.
Spaying and Neutering
Spaying or neutering is a vital step for your pet’s health and well-being. These procedures:
- Prevent unwanted litters
- Reduce the risk of certain cancers and infections
- Help minimize behaviors like marking, roaming, or aggression
We’ll discuss the best time for surgery based on your pet’s breed, size, and health.
Behavior & Socialization Guidance
The first few months of life are critical for shaping your pet’s behavior and confidence, so we focus on:
Training Support
We offer advice on crate and carrier training, house- or litter box-training, and basic commands.
Socialization
Introduce your pet to new people, pets, and environments in a positive way to prevent fear and anxiety later in life.
Behavioral Counseling
We address challenges like scratching in kittens or chewing in puppies to nip problem behaviors in the bud.
