Comprehensive In-House Laboratory & Bloodwork Services
Bloodwork provides invaluable insight into your pet’s overall health, detecting conditions like anemia, infection, or organ dysfunction before symptoms appear.
- Complete Blood Count (CBC): Measures red and white blood cells and platelets to identify infections, inflammation, or clotting disorders
- Biochemistry Panel: Evaluates organ function, including liver, kidneys, and pancreas, to detect issues such as diabetes or kidney disease
- Thyroid Testing: Checks thyroid hormone levels to identify hyperthyroidism (common in cats) or hypothyroidism (common in dogs)
- Urinalysis: Examines kidney health and detects urinary tract infections, crystals, or other abnormalities
- Fecal Testing: Screens for parasites like worms or protozoa that can affect your pet’s health and the safety of your family
- Cytology: Evaluates samples from skin, ears, fluid, and masses for abnormalities
- Progesterone Testing: Determines where your pet is in her heat cycle for effective breeding
Our in-house laboratory allows us to deliver fast and accurate results, often within the same day.

Digital Radiology & Ultrasound Services
Digital Radiology (X-Rays)
Digital X-rays provide detailed imaging of your pet’s bones, joints, and internal organs, aiding in the diagnosis of fractures, arthritis, and conditions such as heart or lung disease. Digital imaging offers clearer images with reduced radiation exposure and faster results, allowing us to start treatment promptly.
Ultrasound Imaging
Ultrasound uses sound waves to create real-time images of your pet’s internal organs, making it ideal for soft-tissue imaging. This procedure is painless and non-invasive, and may only require light sedation if your pet is anxious.
We commonly use ultrasound to:
- Diagnose bladder stones, abdominal masses, or fluid accumulation
- Monitor pregnancies and evaluate fetal health
- Examine the heart (echocardiogram) for cardiac conditions
Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows us to examine and treat your pet’s gastrointestinal tract, nasal passages, or airways. In an endoscopic procedure, a small camera is inserted into your pet’s body, typically through the mouth or nose, which then enables us to view internal structures without surgery. Endoscopy can help with the diagnosis of conditions like chronic vomiting, blockages, or nasal discharge and is often used to retrieve foreign objects your pet may have swallowed.
